Which botanical aspect of the tomatoes and watermelons are contradictory?

Question: During summer, if one plans to stay on a diet of only watermelons, there would be no need to drink water as good quality watermelon contains 96% water. However, the person would be deprived of other nutrients (100 grams of watermelon has merely 0.2 gram of protein and hardly 16 kcal). Which botanical aspect of the tomatoes and watermelons are contradictory?

Answer: Botanically tomato is not a vegetable but a fruit, whereas watermelon although considered as a fruit, is defined as a vegetable. In fact, there is no clear cut distinction between a fruit and a vegetable. However, as per the verdict by the USA’s Supreme Court, what is to be eaten with the meals is a vegetable and after the meals, is a fruit.
